What a great idea! I will have to work on one and see what blue flowers I can find. I have lots of blue planters and a birdbath (even our house is blue). Might take a day or two, but I will do one :)
Love all your blue pictures!

I am lucky, ya blues..they make me feel light and free! but the darker blues or too much can affect some who are color-sensitives...giving them the blues. Yay, I am glad your recent post had some blues, thankyou for sharing! Your posts are always so fun! thankyou for your kind words..much appreciated!

Hi Kiki, the color blue was the subject of three posts in a row when I very first started blogging, these were originally on blogger, not wordpress. The sidebar does not show on those posts that were transferred.

Blue In The Garden-Part One
Blue In The Garden-Part Two
Blue In The Garden-Part Three

I am especially proud of the creative titles used for these posts. :-)

A lovely blue theme Kiki. When It first comes up the background is black and then quickly changes. The black background so complemented the blue flowers.

Thanks for issuing this invitation. At this time of year when the garden is going dormant for the winter, it was fun to go through photos looking for the best blues. Here's the link to my post: http://jeansgarden.wordpress.com/2009/11/20/when-a-garden-has-the-blues/ -Jean

Jan (Thanks For 2 Day) said...

Kiki, I'm a fan of blue! I know I've posted some lovely blues before but haven't had time to go through and look for them. A different take on this subject might be some bluebird photos I've posted...but it does involve the 'true blues', as in seasonal affective disorder. I wrote it last December and used the lovely bluebirds as a backdrop to talk about the blues. If you'd like to include it, here's the link:

http://thanksfor2day.blogspot.com/2008/12/feeling-blue.html

I'm thinking about re-posting it after Thanksgiving, before Christmas, as that's when a lot of people start to get the blues. However, when I send this note to you, I may need to repost it right now, in order to link back to you. I guess I'll go ahead and do that...

BUT, Blue Is Just About My All Time Favorite Color, so this isn't meant to be depressing or anything;-)
