Wonderful post, horses are a huge part of my life and are truly special creatures. Even after decades I appreciate every minute with them, the sounds of munching or the clip clop of hooves is intoxicating.

The horses look strong and powerful, yet they are soft a gentle. A great companion.
The poetic text is lovely, Kiki, but what gardeners like most about horses is, the hay and grain that horses eat provides rich manure that really makes for great garden beds.
We had some hay cut and baled once and DH asked the man, who said it was good quality hay, if he would feed it to his Mama's cows. The man said, "This hay is so good, I'd feed it to her horse."
