I love finding feathers anywhere, but especially somewhere unexpected. I keep the ones that call to me, and put them with stones & other objects that also speak to me. I have a book somewhere that is all about the subject of your post-- how feathers can be messengers. Lovely post.

There is no doubt, feathers, as soft and fragile as they are, can provoke deep powerful feelings. I remember my daughter being reduced to tears when she saw the movie Forest Gump. He was sitting on the bench watching a small white feather floating down out of nowhere. She was quite young but she was able to get the message. Thank you for sharing your wonderful spirit xxx
I loved this post! Feathers have become such a personal symbol for me. I walk every day which is like meditation for me, and find myself coming up with all sorts of creative ideas, and every time I have one of these ideas, I nearly always look down and see a feather on the path...I always smile when this happens, because I know it's my own personal little affirmation that I am on the right track.

Lovely post and beautiful thoughts about the feather.
I loved this post and your pictures. I love finding the little tiny feathers, a sign that a little bird has been around. There is something magical about them, maybe it's because they are used for flying.
Ah, I feel lighter already... :-)
My favourite place to find a feather is in any quiet spot I go to think. If I see a feather there I feel my thoughts have been received. Lovely post!!
