When Natural Magic Whispers: Plant Totems

A Gift..

As I was harvesting a beautiful bundle of Thyme from the Herb Garden..there it was.....tucked inside the gorgeous yellowy-green strands of Thyme... a most Magical and Powerful tiny Feather!
Feathers are Magical...Feathers are messengers..
The Plant it adorns...Magical too! A Direct Invitation..have you recieved any lately? Have you recieved the Whispers from Nature's Spirit and the realm of Natural Magic?

Nature will often speak to us in quiet magical ways.

There are special times when you will find a Sign such as this......the plant kingdom is speaking to you...these are beautiful gifts from the Universal Spirit of Nature. The Spirit of Nature is singing to your heart!

Take Notice of Messages from the Plant Kingdom...
I felt the gentle whisper to recieve this special gift and bring the Powerful Plant Medicine and energy of Thyme into my daily practice..so now Thyme will have a Special Focus for me....Thyme's Energy is asking me to dance and embody it's energy at this time...so I answer the call..and invite this plant medicine into my space, my awareness, my life, my heart and spirit!

The Spirit of Thyme
Thyme is  a powerful herb..and a powerful Healer, cleanser and detoxifier, and an All Around Life Enhancer, a Powerful Harmonizer...wonderful in cooking..wonderful as a flavor ..a Spiritual Uplifter and Energy Booster!

Thyme carries special ingredients in all levels; body mind and spirit.

It is also a beautiful herb and it's scent is mesmerizing! Perhaps Thyme will be a perfect ally  as I transition into Autumn's Realm! Look at the Timing when you receive a Plant Totem..both seasonally and personally..plants can help us transition to new changes or shifts in the season.

The Essence of Thyme
Thyme brings Renewal, The Spark of New Life, Newly Charged Energy to work with, The Essence of Creativity to explore, the Power of Scent and Infusion. Thyme sparks Harmonizing qualities into your Being and calls in new ingredients ..weaving them into your Life to further enhance Balance and Harmony  on your Path!

Magical Thyme Tea and Meditative Moments...
It is wonderful fresh in tea...or can be dried and used a Tea for the winter months when you cannot take it from the garden. So I shall answer the magical call to making some Magical Thyme Tea...and harvest the rest and dry it..poof..my Magical Thyme Tea will warm me in the winter months!

The memory of this beautiful Feather will remind me of that connection to my spirit and it will become a Meditative Tea for me to enjoy!  With each sip my Spirit ignites...and the magic of thyme will infuse my life with beauty and harmony and new blessings..just as this little feather blessed me today!

You can create your own special tea blends, Create a lovely festive jar to store it in after it has dried and even create  a small Blessings of Thanks and infuse your special magic and joy into the tea, store in a special place and take it out when you feel called or need that special magic to brighten your day and lift your spirit! For personal use it is a lovely way to connect with your plant totem used as a tea-blend , a wonderful Natural Potion to enjoy!

Note*( always make sure you know how to properly identify any plant for ingestion or seek an expert)

Plant Totems speak to you...

*Notice when plant totems may be appearing to you..

*Notice when you are feeling called to a plant over and over..

* If you have a garden notice if that plant thrives in your space..

* Notice if the appearance or scent of a plant constantly speaks to you

*Notice when you have been recieving one as Gift over and over...( the universe sends messengers in all forms)

*Notice  a sign pointing you directly to it..such as this, with a feather adorning a plant .. it is a special sign for you to take notice of and you will understand it in your own way!

* Notice as well if it is more the plant or the "area" calling you. Both the plant and that area may have special energy offering it self to you. Enjoy!

Reasons whay plants speak to us..

*It may simply be the space is full of harmony and saying Thankyou!

*It may simply be a gift from the Universe smiling upon you..enjoy the magic!

*It may be calling you to understand and deepen your connection to plant medicine and nature's energy and spirit.

*It may be showing you wonderful Gifts and Qualities that plant carries and being offered to you..in some way! You will know!

*If you look back you can probably recognize when certain Plants and Flowers or Trees were your totems and guiding you or offering you their energy in some form!

* Notice if it is the whole family or certain variety of a plant..or just a specific one.

*It may just be to inspire you and to appreciate your love for nature and be in awe of it. To deepen your respect for the land, for your garden, nature and the Harmony of the space and the Power of all Plants.

Have you ever found a feather adorning a certain space..tree ..plant..flower..and have you recieved it's invitation? Everything is a gift if you open your heart to it...especially the tiniest of things!

I have always loved Thyme..it is allover my garden..
The garden can speak to you in many ways! Nature can whisper to you in magical ways.

Focussing on Thyme
Thyme adorned with a feather tells me...this herbal treasure will bring new gifts, is a strong ally for Harmony..and one I should bring into my daily routine and practice at this time...so I shall  create with it..cook and brew tea and dry some for winter! Sounds like a wonderful plan.

We all sense signs differently....the symbolic feather brings me straight to my spirit..and that tells me thyme will make my spirit fly in new magical ways..I welcome this new adventure! Thyme is powerful, purifying, balancing and harmonizing and it's scent is awakening!

THyme also brings to mind it's creative energy..it's nature is to spread , cover ground and stretch out creating a natural path of nature...with tiny little roots on the underside of it's stemmed-leaves,..it is a wonderful message to expand energy and extend creativity at this time..to work with what brings you joy to create  your special Path of Harmony...and enhance that Path of Natural Harmony.

Well ...that is what it whispers to me.... how do plants whisper to you? You can read on plant symbolism..but it is always most rewarding and more magical when you connect in and listen yourself....and trust and value what you sense....and hear what is uniquely being guided within you..

That is the Magic of Nature..it speaks directly to you and no one else..and what you sense intuitively is divine and perfect for you. Your relationship with the nature kingdom...a rock ..a tree ,.the soil... a weed..a tiny flower is a sacred journey..and can be walked uniquely by you if you are open to it.

Thyme is Shining it's magic  and light into my space..so I welcome it!
Listen to the magic of plants and if one is offering itself as a Totem to you at a special time..say thankyou!

Do you answer the call to Nature? Do you enjoy the tiny signs it sends to you?
We can look at the Magic of life in many ways..and Celebrate each tiny gift!

Enjoy Natures Treasures..they are small and quiet but powerful in whatever form they come!
Wishing you all Magical Feathers adorning a special space ...let me know what you find!!

When Nature whispers in Magical ways...
recieve the Invitation
and dance with your Spirit...
Nature will dance with you!
Magic will Awaken!

Beautiful, insightful post Kiki...I always take notice of feathers, especially on my meditative morning walks. Whenever I am thinking creatively about something, I look down, and there is a feather, and I know I am on the right path...thankyou for the information about the plant world too...I intuitively knew this, but somehow your words connected some dots for me - thankyou. And isn't it funny that I was in the garden the other day, and I noticed my thyme, and Pip kept going and lying on it, crushing it, releasing it's aroma...I am going to pick some now, and bring it inside x

I do love feathers also. Yesterday I found a feather of a bird of prey . I was on a hiking tour through the forest nearby and got this little treasure as a gift. Thyme is a delightful herb and I love to cook with it. I wish you a relaxing Sunday and nice week, Inge

What a wonderful and inspiring post, Kiki! This year, zinnias have been my plant messenger. We planted none of them and there is a small ocean of them in our yard this year, enough for me to cut huge bunches and enjoy them in the house. They were my mother's favorite flower and fill me with joy! Then, on my first morning back from my trip to Germany, I was watering outside and a hummingbird came to visit, reminding me to be joyful and free! I love natures messengers...

Love, Silke

Hi Kiki, It's been a long time since I've visited. So sorry. I've been busy :( Love the thyme. Excellent shots.

Hi, Kiki;
I always learn something new when I pay you a visit. I've never given a thought to Thyme ~ though I love the fragrance ~ and the thought of an aromatic tea sounds wonderful. :)

Yes I believe the natural world speaks to us all of the time. So many signs and symbols if we would pay attention. This morning I went walking listened to birdsong, enjoyed the breeze, touched and loved on trees....it's the Druid in me.

What a beautiful post and thank you so much for the reminder! I have thyme growing in my own garden but it's separated from my other herbs and sadly I've forgotten about it this past season. I will not neglect it anymore.

Your posts are beautiful, thoughtful and educational, to boot :) Love your photos...

I adore feathers also....always include them in my "fairy dwelling" decor (I like to dress up the trees around my house with little doors and artifacts that make you think a fairy must have taken up residence :D)...there's no denying their magic!

Oh Kiki, we are kindreds! I found a large feather several days ago, which I've not yet identified. And I will be trying some thyme tea soon!

What a magical thought....and messg n some lovely pics of Thyme to go with it. Kiki....The plants do silently communicate with us without words in subtle ways... swaying, blooming or like u mentioned with a mystical feather to guide us when they beckon.

Kiki, what a beautiful post. We have creeping thyme in our garden. Somehow the edible varieties haven't wintered well here but the creeping is spreading its carpet and we just love it. I've never found a feather in ours but have found several in the grass. One very large crow's feather is now tucked into a sweet arrangement in a bowl.
Lovely images here as always...and I love how you've left the feather in the thyme...
Hugs, Diane

Interesting post! Glad to hear this info about thyme. I love it. It's beautiful in food and perfect in my alcoholic drink! :)

I just moved some to create more of an herb garden, and am pretty excited about it.

From inside, I spied a brilliant red leaf tucked into the yarrow foliage. I caught my eye for days before I had a chance to check it out. I don't think there are any neighboring trees turning colors just yet - it was definitely an intriguing find...

I love finding feathers as well. And thyme is such a lovely plant. I love how it returns each year and often offers a number of harvests in a season. I love how your have shared so much about listening, being aware, enjoying, finding kinship and wonder with our plant friends. Thank you.

Q: Is ZeekRewards having problems in Montana? If so, what sort of problems? Are they LEGAL problems? And why are they being so secretive about this problem? Previously ZeekRewards's support forum is available for public view. Perez if you have to, but stay your hand with the old man. A large number of porphyry rocks are also known to exist. After all, she's in the business of selling gems in the thousands of dollars! A fashionista must know what drew her to T.J.
