The Spirit of Leaves...
Beautiful, Mystical and Inspiring
Magical, Transformational
The Feathers Of Trees
There is a Wise Ancient Spirit
Sparking from each Tree
it's Powerful Essence Carried
in the Spirit of Leaves
The leaves whisper
and I thank them for teaching me
how to dance
to fly
to transform
to die and live again
to spark with every color
To Shine Out loud
Thankyou for teaching me the sacred truths
and mysteries
of how to hold on
and to know .........when to let go
Thankyou for teaching me
How to rest
and dream
How to recreate my form,
to give up my ghost,
to disintegrate in joy ...deep into the dark earth
and Become New again
Thankyou for telling me
how to Carry the Secrets
of the Ancient Forest-Heart
For invoking wisdom within my being
Thankyou for teaching me
a lifetime of living
my path
of true purpose
and for knowing... when it is
Divinely Complete
Thankyou for giving me
The Power of Knowing ..
when Returning to my Spirit ..
makes me Whole,
Restored, Healed
and there is no cause to ever Weep,
For the Spark of this Essence
will Mold me Forever
into Infinite Light
and bring me Alive
Once again
when the Sacred Wheel Turns
and its Creational Hands
welcome me
into a World without End.

leaves can teach all these lessons!
I love the photo of the acorns. They're usually so high in the trees, I rarely see them in a green cluster as you've shown.
one of my kindergartener's homework assignmetns was to think about all the ways that leaves move and get carried around. That was an interesting thing to ponder, and is what your lovely post reminds me of.
Wendy!!
thanks for sharing your magic and for visiting!
The acorns..yes i was waaay up high in a tree-house..high as trees..on my favorite trail walk..there is this tree house called 'The Look-Out" up on a hill..and that is where the photos were taken! I felt like a bird!
Have a sparkling day!
What a lovely and inspirational post! Was one of those photos upside down? I thought it a wonderful and deliberate reminder to see the World with a newness that we often take for granted...
Thank you :)
Cameron

We forgot that we came her, going through life, leaving like the leaves, coming back, it is not important to know that, but can help a lot to understand life here on earth.
I love those days where there is a breeze, and I sit in amongst the trees in my garden and listen to the messages they have for me, and I feel at peace. Thankyou darling Kiki for sharing your beautiful words - they really do resonate with me and thankyou also for always lending your light to my little corner of the world - your words mean the world to me x
Sooooo beautiful! Inspirational words and wonderful photos!
Hi Kiki, your words and photos are always so beautiful!! Seeing all these gorgeous leaves outside, I think I'd be too distracted to do anything else! We don't have this autumnal change here but I'm glad I see them on blogs like yours. The colours on the 4th and 5th pictures are absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing them.
Have a great day!!
Dear Kiki, thank you for this deeply beautiful and spiritual glimpse of the magic of nature. I do think of the cycles of nature in the fall and you have given even more to contemplate. I loved this. :)
These are lovely photos. Kiki, I do love and admire trees, also. It is so wonderful and relaxing being in the forest and feeling all your batteries recharging. Have a nice weekend, Inge
Such lovely words, such wonderful photos. Coming into your world is a sure cure for stress! Thank you dear friend and Happy Halloween! XO
The leaves, so lovely, as is this post, Kiki. Thank you and do have a sparkling autumn day.
I love to listen to the whispers of the leaves ... they take me back to a peaceful place in my childhood. I love to see the leaves dance in the wind and watch my dog full speed chase them with a big grin on his face. Thank you for reminding me of these things.
I truly love this time of year for the wonderful fall colors, I love the way fallen leaves carpet a woodland path and the way tree branches look against the fall skies. Great post!
Thank you for these lovely thoughts, they bring such peace with them.
How I love the trees.
Blessings to you dear Kiki.
Gorgeous photos and words of empowerment. I love to collect leaves this time of year. I use them in arrangements and sometimes paint them gold or silver. A beautiful sign of the seasonal change. Leaves (as with feathers) are small gifts to us to remind us of the cycle of death and rebirth. Beautiful post Victoria!
Hi Kiki, i believe everything on our path teach us many things. It depends on us how sensitive we are to all of them! But your poem and photos are inspiring, and i am specifically smitten by the inverted photo. I will have to do that too, one of these days. Thank you!
Beautiful photos and such a wonderful interpretation of leaves! I feel so warm and content right now!
Thank you Kiki!

Oh KiKi, beautiful images, and wonderful words to ponder for me today..
Dear Kiki,
there is an amazing play of light and shadow in your fotos this time, it underlines your words. I love very much the one with the red leaves and the sun is shining through them, what a beautiful moment.

Greetings from the Netherlands!
I know I'm so late, but I'm so glad you posted this lovely autumn walk through trees and all these majestic giants offer us each day. I missed fall here in Ohio due to being incapacitated during the height of color, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your wonderful view of nature.
Hola Kiki! El otoño es una de mis estaciones favoritas por la tonalidad de los árboles y tus fotografÃas son estupendas. Gracias por compartirlo y por pasarte por mi blog. Un saludo!

Kiki these are beautiful leaves .. aren't all leaves beautiful ? : )
The ones that lay quietly on the forest floor are sometimes my favorite .. I think it is the serenity they display .. peaceful .. resting .. now they will soon have a blanket of snow to snuggle down in ?
Joy : )
one of my tasks assignmetns kindergarten was thinking about all the ways that move the leaves and the ship. It's an interesting thing to ponder, and that is what your post reminds me beautiful.
