Midsummer Magic: Harvest and Crafting

A Midsummer Harvest is a very Festive one..a very Magical One!
The Sun's Power is at it's highest peak, it's zenith..and everything kissed by this Magical Sun is something to celebrate!

A beautiful time to pick flowers or herbs carrying this Sun's magic! A wonderful to time to enjoy nature's gifts and create an arrangement, a Nature Mandala, a Solstice Meditation..also Floral Head-Wreathes and Crowns to wear ..all beautiful ways of celebrating the Beauty of Nature and honoring the Sun.

The Power of the SUN and the Longest Day...

Many love to gather sacred plants on the Solstice... as it is when the Sun is at it's most magical potentcy and power! A very powerful day.....and then from that point the Sun decreases in it's power..so it is a powerful day to gather Memories and Energy and Magic in the Form of Nature's Kingdom.

Of course..Nature is powerful every day and in every moment..but it is wonderful to observe and honor those heightened times when nature's vibration is shifting and creating new changes! Natural Miracles are Blessings!

Solstice Tributes can be created in any way you like.. and make intentions and wishes, poems, offerings of  beauty, love, healing and Good Will for those you love.

Gather special things..make a special Solstice Creation-bottle with flowers or special tokens..and fill it with all your positive wishes, dreams, creative intentions...wishes for the world ..your own dreams..a dedication to honor nature and the Sun...

Gathering Herb Bundles, Floral Bundles,

bundles for Smudge Sticks  and making Nature Crowns and Lavender Wands

is also a fun tradition

to spend outside creating that day!

Enjoy their floral scent in a  room , or as decoration. Tied and fastened with hemp cord in your favorite color is a nice touch!

Nature Crafting

For Smudge Bundles and Herb Bundles: Gather a  large bunch, cut them all the same length..they will shrink down a bit..fasten a spiral around them, tighten with hemp cord..hang them up to dry in a dark airy space..and enjoy once fully dried. Lovely for special celebrations.

A fun activity to do out in the the Solstice Sun..

Make sure to bring  a crown of course..when making these Royal Solstice Treaures!

 This beautiful Smudge stick was created last Summer Solstice..the last one left, they make wonderful gifts and are special blends of what you enjoy. I love to use Lavender, Catnip/Catmint, Sage and Rosemary...

*Special Note*
(* always know how to Properly Identify plants or seek an expert!) If you use smudge sticks for burning , always use Safety First, use a smudge bowl and make sure it is a scent/plants you are not allergic to etc  )

Smudge sticks are traditionally burned,  but they can simply be used as Decoration and enjoyed for their scent and beauty. I enjoy them as decorations and as herbal bundles and wands.

Another beautiful tradition is leaving any special stones or beads and charms outside/ or in the windowsill as the sun rises for Solstice. A Natural way to fill stones and beads with Solstice Magic.

Solstice is all about the Sun..and spending the day Celebrating the Sun.
It is wonderful to create beaded bracelets and necklaces and Suncatchers  etc..in this Sun Festival  to make memories. It will carry that special power!
