Every year I get  in this whimsical mood.

My child-like spirit leads the way.

and I paint whimsical, rustic characters.

I call them Drift-Folk.

Some of the characters are universal like
Wizards and Gnomes and Faery-Folk..

some are festive like
Old World Santas 

some are more symbolic

like Archetypes ,

of Myth, Folklore, Angels and Saints

and also Magical Tarot figures.

Truly just plain fun..
