I miss my herbs as well this time of year. However here in California the Rosemary is doing great at this time of year- it's pretty hardy. What a great way to start the day with this beautiful post!
Have a great day Kiki!

I danced, I romanced. What fun! I desperately miss my fresh herbs and lettuce mixes.

I also love all the lavenders and think your photographic compositions here are really lovely - my favourite is of the sprigs of lavender lying across the piano keys.

At the moment, we're enjoying our summer and my gardenias are in bloom. I love their heady perfume and perfect creamy white flowers. My deep blue clematis is also flowering, as are the white iceberg roses. White and blue are such lovely cool colours in the garden at this time of the year, so I'm "in love" with all the flowers of this hue right now :)

Oh, so beautiful!! I love basil and I miss it in the winter. However, right now I am totally enjoying our big bushes of rosemary (such wonderful scent) and our sweet kumquats. Nature is amazing, isn't it?! Much love, Silke

I love this post! I wear lavender and rosemary everyday. Sometimes with a bit of patchoulli. I tried switching when I received some perfume and the kids were upset, can you believe it? So, that is the scent I love around me. I miss heady scented roses, too, in Winter. Ahh... thanks for the respite, here, friend. you are the best. Blessings.

What beautiful pictures! My daughter was just mentioning earlier today that she wished that the lavender was blooming. I miss pretty much all of the flowers right now, especially the ones that smell good like lavender.
PS After seeing a post you did on Green Man awhile ago I've had my eye out for one. I finally found the one I liked and he made it into a post a few days ago.

Lavender is my favorite herb - I love it as a plant, an Essential Oil and just everything else about it. If it had no flowers, I would still love it for its green-gray leaves that smell so wonderful when I touch them. Thanks so much for the Lavender Serenade!

Fields of red poppies ... African violets ... orchids and tulips and sunflowers ... daisies and pale pink roses! Plumeria and anything that smells like Hawaii. And lavender. :)

hmmm, I do miss my lavender. I also miss the herbs out back. I take them for granted all summer until winter and I suddenly NEED them for every meal. I think I might miss my lamb's ear the most. It's so soft and lush and the color draws me in. I think I must look at it every time I walk to and from my house.

I was smitten with lavender the moment I enjoyed the fragrance the first time. I miss roses in the winter, but luckily I can find them at florists.

I had no idea you had so many beautiful blogs! I've been dancing from one to the next, each one unique yet so filled with your spirit!

Have a wonderful evening!

I love lavender! We have a wonderful, but small lavender festival every year in Paso Robles. The growers come up with their fresh picked lavender and its heaven. I miss my roses and can't wait for the cherry blossoms~

Oh, Kiki, lavender is my very favourite!! We are redoing the grounds of my son's daycare and planting lavender as part of the children's garden. I am so thrilled.
