Victoria, what a beautiful post!
I do see quite a lot of animals in the forest that I live in: Chickadees, Gray Squirrels, Coyotes, Red Breasted and White Breasted Nuthatches, Flicker and Acorn Woodpeckers, Purple Finches, Stellar Jays. Mountain Lions and Black Bears also share their forest with me, but I've never been fortunate enough to get a post-worthy photo of one. We are not lucky enough to have the darling little Red Squirrels and the beautiful Black Squirrels that you do, though.
Blessings,
Victoria from Brushstrokes
I've always loved squirrels -- they're such cheeky little buggers!
There's a blog award for you over at my blog today!
What a lovely post - I too see many of winter's magical creatures, red deer, rabbits, squirrels and many kinds of birds. Best of all yesterday came the wild haunting calls of a large skein of geese flying overhead
Gentle, charming and adorable! I followed you over from Debra's blog and can see why she awarded the Liebster blog award to you. Most worthy :)
Hi Victoria, what absolutely beautiful photography. You certainly are a most talented lady. I have just met you through Debra, She Who Seeks and congrats and greetings from Northern Ontario on receiving the Liebster Award. Hugs, Chris

Breathtaking!
Victoria, thanks for this post. I do love seeing winter's creatures bustling about. We have squirrels and birds in our garden, rabbits, coyotes and deer in our neighbourhood and the nearby ravine is full as well. It's comforting to see that life is still humming along.
Beautiful post! :)
Beautiful pictures !!! I would love to have squirls in my garden, but I don't live in squirl habitat.
Birds I see a lot. I love the little red robin.
Have a magical day !!
Hello Victoria, your photographs and words are as beautiful as always.
My favorite is 'Spirits of the Snow'. They are absolutely beautiful images accompanied by a warm sentiment.
Oh my gosh! You have three different types of squirrels! I would love to see that!! I've never seen a black squirrel before. Beautiful photos - I would love to live nearer to nature and see all these deer and wildlife.
Your beautiful garden attracts magical creatures...
You are a modern day fairy consulting with the gentle deer, whispering with the squirrels and sharing secrets with the birds...
Lucky girl you are :)
Happy New Year. Well, Victoria, here I see, not only those that live here year round, but those that come to visit from colder realms. Those you miss, come to visit here; where, by the way, I for one, provide good care. How funny that you listed the squirrels in your post. I was just chatting with a neighbor about the "behaivor" of the local squirrels pulling apart the mirror chimes, the whimsical bottles and "dainties" I hang in the trees. We decided to call them "teenagers," and excuse their "wild" behaivor as such. Now when birdfeeders are awry on the ground or plants are pulled up, we blame it on the "teenagers." I enjoyed your post tremendously and am so pleased you find joy in all ceatures great and small. Peace.
Thanks for the beautiful photos !!!
