Louise Odier Rose
This year I was given the Louise Odier Rose as a Gift and added it to my back garden.
A gift brought to me from my mother.
After a beautiful rainfall.... I fell even more in love with them..
They are magical, poetic and and inspiring...
Hope you enjoyed my Roses in the Rain tribute..
Did you add any New Roses
to your garden?
Do you have a Forever-Favorite?
A rose-wish list?
I enjoyed the blooms of Louise Odier this summer..
and found them to be gorgeous, lush..and romantic!
The leaves also quite beautiful...
Soon the snow will be gone...the garden will come alive..and I am looking forward
to all my roses this year! They are all Special in their own way!
Thankyou for visiting..
Wishing you a garden of summer roses...

Beautiful! I like the rose displayed in the teacup.
I suppose it must be the calling of the photographer to take us deeper into the object than we've been before. i have certainly never observed the beauty of the rose so clearly. Lovely, Victoria!
This variety of rose is so feminine and victorian, I can understand why you love it Victoria :) A true charmer!
Your photos of the beautiful roses are breath-takingly (is that a word?) gorgeous.
My favorite rose in my garden is the 'Fairy Rose.' I love its tiny, pale pink blossoms, but I love it even more because it's the only rose that blooms reliably every summer for me. It's a struggle with the altitude, the shade of the forest, and the raccoons to get things to grow up here. Like you, I'm looking forward to seeing what blooms this summer!
Blessings,
Victoria from Brushstrokes
Gorgeous !!!!! I love roses and especially old roses and the cottage kind of roses. I've got the cottage rose in m,y garden and it is fantastic. I also have my wedding rose, which was in my bouquet when I married. I bought it a few years ago. It is called Mainzer Fastnach and it smells delicious.
Have a great day.
Such living jeweled spirits. I am resting my eyes on the last photograph as I type and the rich colors and shadows draw me into a faerie-land. The droplets and overcast light are just so much more description and texture, that I feel that much more connected to this portal.
Thank you for sharing your garden with us.
...hues of the feminine ~ garlands of petalic fragility ~ sincere sugar candy floss ~ rose quartz stillness ~ emerald mountains ~ jeweled rubies ~ vapour molten kisses ~ kettledrum sighs ~ thankyoU sO much for the sharing! ~ Victoria! ~ blessed be!...

My beautiful faraway friend, sorry I have been away from your little blog for a while...I adore roses, and have a front garden full. I always bring them inside to enjoy. This one in your photos is truly divine x
Louise Odier is a beautiful rose, I love all the old-fashioned scented shrub roses. My favourite is Konigin von Danemark which I've had for years. I've recently acquired Rosa Mundi too - I like the striped roses.
These are beautiful pictures! We had an out of control bush in the front yard of an old fashioned rose like the gorgeous bloom in your lens....I was saddened by our need to remove it!
My favorite rose is called Double Delight....a white rose with dark fuschia edges....and a fragrance that welcomes you into the room before you even enter it :)
such beautiful photos. I have a favourite Rose called the Peace rose. Its a delecate shade of light pink and cream. It was my nana's favourite rose and when she died I got one for our garden in her memory. Hugs Sara
Beautiful, Victoria!
